Scare your friends on Snapchat with the Augmented Reality filter "The Nest"

One in three of Snapchat's 178 million daily active users play with Augmented Reality filters every day. But so far, these filters were exclusively designed and made by the Snapchat teams themselves.

In 2017 the Californian company, eager to open up to new creative approaches, contacted Nedd to begin collaboration.

Using Snapchat's Lens Studio, the agency was given carte blanche to create different filters in Augmented Reality.

"The Nest" is the first of them. With this filter, Nedd teams wanted to surprise Snapchat's young audience by creating a hole in the ground from which a giant spider pops up when they approach it. It is in the spirit of and directly inspired by "prank and joke" gadgets.

In 2018, Nedd's collaboration with Snapchat went a step further by becoming a « Lens Studio Partner », one among ten agencies worldwide having the opportunity to create face and world Lenses for brands.
