BNP Paribas uses Augmented Reality to create a new customer experience.

Users are in need of services that facilitate the management of their bank accounts remotely (availability 24/24, mobility access) but also want to be guided by a banking advisor for engaging products & services, during the important stages of life (the birth of a child, studies, real estate purchase ...) but also in the difficult moments (unemployment, divorce, disability ...) while still benefiting from benevolent, professional and personalized advice.

For Viva Technology, held in Paris in May 2018, BNP Paribas and Nedd have imagined a way to combine these two expectations, by creating a service that enables users to speak to a banking advisor in Augmented Reality.

Thanks to this technology, each user will be able to view detailed and sometimes complex financial information, and make decisions or carry out transactions accordingly.

A technological innovation by Nedd

The avatar's facial animations are synchronized with that of the person who is speaking, and the body is also animated according to the voice and its intensity. All of this gives the impression that the avatar is really "present" and alive.
